Terms and Conditions
The Booking Conditions outlined below, together with any other written information we might have brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, form the basis of your contract with Horizon Watersports Ltd (“we” or “us”). 'We' or 'us' applies to Horizon Watersports Ltd and/or Horizon Activities (Greece) as relevant. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. In these Booking Conditions references to “you” and “your” include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is added or transferred.
As with all sporting activities, the nature of the holidays we provide and activities you may choose to participate in involves a degree of personal risk. You recognise that many activities have an inherent danger of personal injury or death. You accept these risks and you are responsible for your own actions. Although we may provide instructions and tuition to you as part of the arrangements you book, which will minimize these risks, your booking is accepted by us on the basis that you understand and accept the risks involved in physical activities.
It is a condition of our contract with you that you have suitable insurance cover for the activities you have booked with us. Any other excursions or hazardous activity in which you partake locally are at your own risk and liability and may not be covered under the terms of your holiday insurance. Please check the details of your individual policy before participation in any hazardous activities.

Changes Made To a Confirmed Booking
Please note that all activities undertaken with Horizon Watersports Ltd are subject to the appropriate weather conditions. It is at the discretion of the Duty Manager at the time of the activity to decide whether it is safe to carry out your intended watersport. If activities are cancelled by Horizon Watersports Ltd you can rebook at no further cost, or claim a full refund.
If you would like to make any changes to your booking, the following refund terms will apply: cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booked activity time will receive no refund; cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice of the booked activity time will receive a 50% refund. Where possible the party leader must contact us in writing and we will try to meet your request. All changes made are subject to availability at the time of the request. We regret that no credit or refund is possible for any unused services provided in the cost of your booking.
Your Responsibility and Behaviour
All of our guests are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guests. You are expected to adhere to the guidance and advice of our instructors at all times to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time with us. If in our opinion your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any of our other guests or any third party or damage to property, we reserve the right to terminate your booked activities with us immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for booked activities will be made.
On arrival you will receive a full safety briefing and a site tour. You will be asked for your party’s medical and swimming abilities when you arrive at the centre. This will be recorded on your Guest Information Form (GIF). Your GIF must be filled out honestly and to the best of your knowledge.
Under 18s (Children)
All under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must complete and sign a Guest (or Youth) Information Form on behalf of the child. All children aged 6 or over are able to participate in the activities without parental supervision. However, if parents/guardians are not participating in activities they must sign their children in and out of the care of Horizon Watersports staff at the start and end of the activity session. All under 6s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian whilst participating in the activities.
We regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by any damage or loss as a result of ‘force majeure’. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our own control. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular area may constitute Force Majeure.
Dealing with Complaints
In the unlikely event of a problem occurring during your holiday, a complaint should be made immediately whilst in resort, either to the Centre Manager or a Company Director (firstname.lastname@example.org). If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you should then write to us within 28 days of your return, quoting your booking invoice reference number. Upon receipt of your letter or email, we will acknowledge it within 5 days, investigate the points raised and reply within 28 days or, if this is not possible, send you an interim letter advising of our progress.

Activities and Excursions
We may provide you with information (in our marketing and/or website and/or when you are on holiday) about activities and excursions which are available in the area you are visiting. We have no involvement in any such activities or excursions which are not run, supervised or controlled in any way by us. They are provided by local operators or other third parties who are entirely independent of us. They do not form any part of your contract with us even where we suggest particular operators/other third parties and/or assist you in booking such activities or excursions in any way. We cannot accept any liability on any basis in relation to such activities or excursions.
