If you were lucky enough to come and visit us in Nidri this summer you are sure to have met at least a few of our wonderful staff. As a small company we pride ourselves on having a professional, friendly little team who are all great friends and love what they do. You might be wondering what our staff do once the beach closes in October, so we thought we’d give you a little insight in to what they will be getting up to over the winter!
Several of the team are heading to work in the snowy French mountains to enjoy time skiing and snowboarding. Hannah is going to be a Hotel Manager in Alpe D’Huez, Remi is bartending in Morzine (and is very excited to hit the park!) and Mark is starting a new venture of his very own, ‘Ski Bailey’, in the resort of Val Cenis in the heart of the Maurienne valley (for more information visit www.sussexskispecial.co.uk/ski-bailey).
Daz and Katie are both back in the UK working for the winter, trying not to miss gyros and saganaki too much! Daz is doing his Senior Instructor qualification in February and Katie is planning various trips to Spain to visit family (lucky girl). Remi also completed an SI course at the start of November, so with both Daz and Remi returning to us in 2017 our team will be more qualified than ever!
Steve has moved back to his home town of Manchester for the winter, and is doing everything he can to avoid frostbite. Maz is back living in London and is planning a few weekend breaks to Devon for some sea air and wedding planning. Both Maz and Steve man the Horizon office throughout the winter, and are working hard to build on all the tremendous achievements of our second summer.
